My Journey with Financy

In 2023, as a solo developer, I recognized a fundamental problem in personal finance apps: the trade-off between smart features and data privacy. Every popular app required uploading sensitive financial data to cloud servers, creating security risks and privacy concerns that deeply concerned me.

The idea for Financy was born from a simple question: "What if I could build intelligent financial insights without compromising privacy?" This led me to develop Aarohi AI - a privacy-preserving artificial intelligence that processes everything locally on your device.

Named after the musical term "Aarohi" (ascending notes), my AI assistant represents the journey of financial growth. Unlike other finance apps, Financy processes all data on-device, ensuring your financial information never leaves your phone while still providing personalized insights and recommendations.

Today, as an independent developer, Financy serves users across 50+ countries, helping them manage over $10M in tracked expenses while maintaining zero data collection - a testament to my commitment that privacy and intelligence can coexist.
